Making smoothies has been my jam ever since I was pregnant with Owen. My favorite combination of spinach, oat milk, coconut manna, and frozen mango is delicious and quite healthy for you. Recently, I was in need to change things up so I added pre-grated ginger and OH-EM-GEE it was such a great addition.
The ginger adds a spicy, acidic kick that pairs beautifully with the richness of the coconut manna. While you can grate your own ginger, I highly suggest buying pre-grated ginger. It's so much easier and just as tasty.
What's fun about smoothies is you can switch up the ingredients. For example, you can use any frozen or fresh fruit. Frozen pineapple and bananas are also favorite options. Just keep in mind if you use blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, or strawberries, the color of your smoothie isn't going to be a vibrant green. Rather, it will be a grayish brown color. It will still taste delicious, but just won't look as pleasing!
You also don't have to use spinach. I've used kale, and while it does give it a different flavoring, it is also a great option. If you don't have oat milk, then use almond milk or cow's milk.
Ginger Green Smoothie
A healthy smoothie that is also delicious. What makes this smoothie extra tasty is the use of ginger. It gives the smoothie a nice spiceness. While you can use any frozen fruit, I epecially love the sweetness of mango.

- ½ cup milk cow’s, almond, oat, soy
- ⅓ cup water
- ½ banana OR 1 tablespoon coconut manna
